DSM-Firmenich merger done
DSM and Firmenich have completed their merger and will henceforth operate under the name of DSM-Firmenich. The new company will have about 30,000 employees and will operate in four divisions:
Perfumery & Beauty
* Taste, Texture & Health
* Health, Nutrition & Care
* Animal Nutrition & Health
At the same time, the top management structure is being changed. Geraldine Matchett, who has been co-CEO and COO, will leave the company as of 1 September, while fellow co-CEO and CFO Dimitri de Vreeze will continue as CEO. Ralf Schmeitz, hitherto group controller leading the business controlling and accounting teams, will take over the CFO role on the same day.

Peptides CDMO AmbioPharm, has broken ground on a 650 m2, $28 million expansion project at its Shanghai manufacturing site. This is due to be complete in 2H 2025 and will produce over 8 tonnes/year of crude peptide.
