Roquette opens China beauty centre

Plant-based ingredients specialist Roquette has opened the Roquette Beauté Expertise Centre in Shanghai. This, the firm said, will be “a hub for co-creation and partnership opportunities within the Chinese cosmetics market”, where its own and customers’ scientific teams can work together to develop new products. 

Key features include an advanced application lab and a comprehensive testing centre, including sensory analysis capabilities, to support the development of plant-based cosmetic formulations for make-up, hair care, skin care and oral care. It mirrors the existing centre in France, which opened five years ago.
