Chemspec Golf Outing goes ahead

It has been confirmed that the 10th Annual Chemspec Events Scholarship Golf Outing will go ahead on 21 September 21 at the Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club in F

ort Washington, Pennsylvania. The club is already following all the COVID-19 guidelines laid down by the CDC and will have hosted at least six similar events before this. The outing is a well-established networking event, which raises money to fund scholarships for students of science subjects in the Greater Philadelphia region. It will be one of very few chemical industry gatherings to take place in the US since late February, alongside PharmaChem Outsourcing, which is still scheduled for 14-15 September in Long Branch, New Jersey.

Participants come from the pharmaceuticals and related industries, and their suppliers and collaborators. Among those already represented are BASF, Novartis, Teva, Eli Lilly, Merck & Co., Dow, Bristol-Myers Squibb, AMRI, Johnson Matthey, Brenntag and Piramal Pharma Solutions. The event concludes with the usual reception and dinner.
