Manuchar gets bigger in Brazil

Manuchar, an Antwerp-based distributor of chemicals in emerging markets, has agreed to Cosmoquímica Indústria e Comércio and Cosmolog Logística subject to regulatory approval. Both are based in São Paulo, Brazil, where Manuchar has been active since 1939 and now employs about 300 at six regional offices, including its headquarters at Rio de Janeiro.

Cosmoquímica distributes a wide range of domestically manufactured and imported chemical products, mainly to markets including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food. Cosmolog specialises in logistic services such as general product warehousing, climate-controlled warehouse and storage tanks with capacity of about two million litres.
