Third buy for Airedale
The Airedale Group has acquired McCann Chemicals, including its Hunter Chemicals and McCann Food & Nutrition subsidiaries. Both firms are UK-based. This is Airedale’s third acquisition since 2015. McCann Chemicals, which is 50 years old this year, will continue to operate independently.
Airedale said that McCann’s portfolio of organic and inorganic chemicals will complement its existing offering from its five divisions of Functional, Innovation, Food & Beverage, Metal Surface Treatment, Life Science and Surfactants, and will support its plans to strengthen its market position.
