Three new labs for Azelis

Azelis has announced the opening of new laboratories within the space of a month. Each covers different applications and is located on different continent.

A new pharmaceuticals and healthcare application laboratory in Courbevoie, France, complements existing ones in the UK and Turkey, the company said. It is equipped to address challenges in areas such as API solubilisation and bioavailability, compliance, counterfeiting and misuse, and the optimisation of formulations and production processes.

In India, Azelis has opened a new ‘agricultural & environmental solutions’ laboratory, which focuses on formulation support for crop protection, seed treatment and micronutrient formulations aligned with international methods and standards. Azelis India has similar laboratories in other areas, including pharmaceuticals and healthcare, and personal care.

Earlier, Azelis opened a new personal care laboratory in Midrand, South Africa. Alongside another in Cairo, Egypt, this will cover the Middle East and Africa, offering support in applications like hair care, skin care, sun care, baby care, oral care, and colour cosmetics, with a focus on specific needs of Africans.
