Clariant to buy Lucas Meyer

Clariant has agreed to acquire Lucas Meyer Cosmetics of Québec, Canada, a supplier of cosmetics and personal care ingredients from International Flavours & Fragrances. The $810 million, 16.3 x EBITDA deal is expected to close in Q1 2024, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Pigments divestment completes Clariant sales

Clariant has agreed to sell 80% of its Pigments business to a consortium made up of German pigments specialist Heubach Group and private investment firm SK Capital Partners, which owns many other chemical industry operations. This should close in 1H 2022.
